#6 "Bones"

Many hundreds of years ago, back right after the bombs dropped, when slimes started appearing across the wastes, some ferals would absorb the skeletons left behind, and use as it as a framework for their then weak forms, often contorting and twisting the bones to become much taller and grotesque.

Even scarier, unlike feral slimes, these slimes were bipedal and towered over others while stumbling quickly towards whatever they saw moving.

In modern times, it is forbidden for any slime to absorb human remains, and any ferals spotted with skeletons should be treated with extreme caution.

An old tale used to say that slimes that absorbed the bones, would often display strange behaviors and even mumblings of the previously living human, though no such things have ever been truly been recorded or seen.
